In August, 1970, Patricia married Kenneth Hulen Clark of Vowell’s Mill, Louisiana, whom she met at a church meeting in Houston. Hulen was a great support to her during their almost 54 year marriage. When she ended her career with this agency in 2002, she had served as worker, supervisor, and regional program specialist. A second career began when Patricia was offered a job to teach for the Social Work Department at Northwestern State University. When she retired from this career in May, 2023, she had served as a tenured associate professor and Director of Field Instruction.
