Patricia Ann Mosley was born on October 28, 1943 and passed away at her home in Campti on June 5, 2024. Patricia died peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by the people she loved the most.
Patricia married her soulmate, Billy Mosley, Sr. on April 27, 1962. Together they owned and operated M&M Grocery & Feed in Campti. For more than 27 years, she worked side by side with Billy to make the store a success.
In her younger years, Patricia was a wonderful seamstress. She loved to crochet and was crocheting up until the day she passed away.
Patricia was a God-fearing Christian woman. She loved to sing and play the tambourine when she was able to attend church. Afterwards, she kept her faith in God and continued to sing and praise the Lord at home. She prayed for everyone that entered into her home and was such a blessing to everyone she knew. She truly was a wonderful soul.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Annie Meek; sisters, Rita Mae Pierce and Judith Carroll Renfro; brother, Johnny Dollar Meek; and a daughter, Delores Eloise Rhodes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Billy Ray Mosley, Sr. of Campti, LA; her children, Charlotte Sanders and husband Eddy Sanders, Sr. of Chesapeake, VA, Katherine Griffith and husband Danny Griffith of Sibley, LA, and son, Billy Mosley, Jr. and wife Maranda Mosley of Campti, LA; seven grandchildren, Eddy Sanders, Jr., Randy Garrison, Bryan Sanders, Courtney Mosley, Heather Mosley, Haley Barthelemy, and Kristina Mosley; two great grandchildren, Ellie Sanders and Colton Garrison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Blanchard-St. Denis with Bro. Jeff Shows officiating. Burial will follow at United Baptist Cemetery, formerly L.C. Weaver Cemetery, in Campti, LA. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7th at Blanchard-St. Denis from 5 pm until 7 pm.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Randy Garrison, James Gooden, Alex Dunning, David Jones, Wesley Messick and David Hansen.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Hand in Hand Hospice of Natchitoches for the love and kindness they showed Patricia. She truly loved each of you.
