A service to honor the life of Mr. Paul “Bootsey” LaCour will be at 2 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 2 pm on Saturday the 22nd at Blanchard-St. Denis. Paul, 77 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019, in Alexandria, LA. He was born on March 21, 1942, to Rainey LaCour and Lair Sylvie LaCour in Melrose, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Sylvie LaCour, Nick LaCour, and Barry LaCour; a grandson, Stephen Metoyer; and a brother in law, Anthony Llorens. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being a member of his bike club. But most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mary Couty LaCour; sons, Paul LaCour, Jr, and James Walsh; daughters, Della Bowers and Jackie LaCour-Monette (Keith); grandchildren, Jeffery James, Paul James, Emille Metoyer, Jr. (Helena), Alton Ray Bowers, Jr., Joshua LaCour, Jeremy White (Canesha), Jermaine LaCour (Alexis), Michael Louis, Jr., McKinley Monette, Miranda Monette, and Jaya Monette; sisters, Mathilda Llorens and Anastasia Christophe (Sam); brothers, Calvin LeCoure (Lillian), Danny LaCour (Laney), Vigar LaCour, and Gerald LaCour (Jannie); great-grandchildren, Joshua LaCour, Joshalyn LaCour, Jordan LaCour, Kaloni Johnson, Jermaine LaCour, Khloe LaCour, Lai’h White, Madilyn LaCour, Lauren Louis, Emille Metoyer, III, Ethan Metoyer, Elias Metoyer and Eleah Metoyer.
