Pearlee Loraine (Pat), Goings, 85 of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Miss Pat loved spending time with family, tending to her flowers, traveling with her sisters, and cuddling with her beloved puppy, Sugarbaby. She was never happier than when she was able to cook a large meal and gather with family for a Sunday or holiday dinner. She loved talking on the phone with family and friends and getting pictures and updates from precious grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. She also volunteered for many years as a Pink Lady at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital. She is survived by her three sons, David (Pam) Wyatt, of Savannah, TN; Chuck (Joana K) Wyatt, of Natchitoches, LA; Don (Christine) Wyatt of Cedar Falls, IA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren whom she adored: Jeanna Lee, Chrissy Logan, David Wyatt, Donna Willis, Jessica Ledbetter, and Tyler Fredieu. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great- grandchild. She is survived by 3 sisters, Opal Berry, Gelee Stoesser, Mary Baxter, and one brother, James A. “Blue” Goings. She was preceded in death by her husband C.A. (Jim) Wyatt, as well as a special friend Elwin Olds. Also preceded by her father, Joseph Earnest Goings, and her mother, Minnie Kelly Goings, and siblings, Marie Wyatt, Albert Goings, Lorie Hanks, Ray Goings, Gladys Phillips, Gay Nell Fisher, Grady Goings. Her funeral service will be held at Old Pisgah Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 13, with graveside services at Old Pisgah Cemetery, preceded by viewing at the church beginning at 1:30 pm. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include David Wyatt, Dillon Wyatt, Josh Willis, Sean Hall, Travis Ledbetter, and Douglas Allen. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Hall and Randy Hillard. The family would like to thank Hospice of Natchitoches for their tender care in this challenging time.
