Pero Scallion

A service to honor the life of Mr. Pero Scallion will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at United Baptist Church in Campti, LA.  Burial will follow at Coulee Bethel Cemetery in Campti, LA under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.  The family will receive friends from 12 pm until 2 pm at United Baptist Church located at 7876 LA Hwy 9, Campti, LA 71411. Pero Scallion, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on December 16, 2018. Pero was born on January 9, 1924. He worked for Valley Electric for many years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and anything outdoors. He had a love for people and loved his family very much. Pero is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dorothy Scallion; sons, Daniel P. Scallion and wife Gail, and David P. Scallion and wife Vickie; daughters, Jill Raynes and husband Bobby, Peggy Duggan and husband Greg, and Cindy Scallion Rachal; stepdaughters, Pam Stanforth and husband Jeff,  Lora Edgin and husband Jack,Sharon Thornton and husband Lynn,  and Monica Sandoval; stepsons, Ben Causey and wife Karen, and James Causey and wife Debbie; As well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include, Jason Raynes, Patrick Scallion, Justin Raynes, Jeremy Scallion, Cody Rachal, Jake Russell, and Mason DeLacerda.
