Robert Keith Stringer

Funeral service for Robert Keith Stringer will be at 2 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home on July 21st. Robert, 60 years of age and a life-long resident of Natchitoches, passed away on July 17, 2018.  He was born on February 7, 1958, to Cecil and June Barker Stringer.  He was a graduate of Natchitoches Academy.  Robert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly in Kisatchie National Forest.  He loved spending time with his family especially with his grandson Kane.  He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Kyle Stringer and wife Nicole of Natchitoches; parents, Cecil and June Stringer of Natchitoches; grandson, Robert Kane Stringer; sisters, Karen Harkins and husband Steve of Natchitoches, Mary Wright and husband Jock of Wilton, CT, and Suzie Sheppard and husband David of Enterprise, AL; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
