Robert Eugene Williams

Robert Eugene Williams, 76 years of age and a resident of Natchitoches passed away on May 10, 2024, after a lengthy illness. He was born on August 2, 1947, to Dewitt Williams and Evelyn Wilson Williams of Natchitoches. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Williams. Four children, Tracy Haywood of Texas, Jason Perez (Rejaine) of Texas, Emeka Williams of Texas, and Robert Williams Sr. (Jessica) of Louisiana. One brother, Cecil Williams of Navada. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, Nikolas Williams, Justin Williams. Easi Perez, Selah Perez, Isaque Perez, Taylor Owens, Tyson Williams, Peyton Williams, Titus Williams, Robert Williams II, and Jayson Williams. Five great-grandchildren, Austin Williams, Lailah Williams, Abran Williams, Aiden Williams, and Malcolm Raggio Jr. Three God Children Brittany Woods, Dana Eleby, and Trintin Casson. Two nieces, Lesa Kozak (David) of Texas and Tiffany Williams (Roger) of Texas; great-niece, Chelsea Jones (her sons, Randy and Mason) of Texas; and two nephews, Kenyon Jonson (Kenetria) of Texas, and Lanthony Pennywell of California; sisters-in-law, Lou Emma Eleby, Gwendolyn Hunt-Woods, and Alice Hardison; as well as a host of friends and family.

Robert served his country within the United States Army, discharging Honorably in 1974. He worked as an Information Systems Specialist at IBM until becoming a private contractor of Computer Systems. Robert had such a generous spirit and an unlimited love for his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him so much joy. He will be dearly missed but always remembered as “Popsalicious”!!
