Sam served the city of Shreveport as a firefighter for over 30 years, retiring in 1991 as a District Chief. He was dedicated to helping others. He was also a lifelong Louisiana cattleman who shared his love of raising cattle with his family and friends. He worked tirelessly on his farm, at times alone and at other times with his wife by his side. Sam also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed.
Our family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Glen who cared for Daddy over the last few years. Dino, Sally, Crystal, Desiree, Brandy, Trina, Latoya, & Tawana and many others were so kind and compassionate to him.
