A service to honor the life of Mr. Tommy Eston Boswell will be held at 2 pm Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Provencal Methodist Church with Rodney Boswell officiating. Burial will follow at Provencal Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 4 pm on Saturday December 18th at Provencal Methodist Church. Tommy, 74 years of age and a resident of Livingston, TX, passed away on December 15, 2021. He was born on July 1, 1947 to Elvis and Juanita Boswell. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Terry Boswell; and a great nephew, Kyle Woodel. Tommy served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was very proud of his patriotic duty to his country. For many years he worked as a driving instructor helping students receive their commercial drivers license to operate 18 wheelers. He was a loving husband, brother, father, step father, Paw-Paw and uncle that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Clynell Boswell; sons, Stephen Grantom and Wesley Boswell; grandchildren, Landon Boswell and Tanner Boswell; sisters, Sherry Woodel and husband Garland and Debbie Boswell; brother, Cecil “Buddy” Boswell and wife Jan; nephews, Jeff Woodel and wife Kris, Brad Woodel and wife Jessica, Cecil Boswell, Jr. and wife Terri, and Rodney Boswell and wife Laurie; two special nieces, Betsy and Lisa as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews. We would be remised not to include his loving dog, Toby, who never left his side.
