Yvonne Lemoine Deen

Yvonne Lemoine Deen died on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Yvonne was born to John Ivory and Ophelia Lemoine on July 5, 1941. She was married to Bobby Deen for 36 years; he preceded her in death in 2012. Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. The funeral service will be held immediately afterwards at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Trichel, Louisiana.

Yvonne attended St. Mary’s High School and graduated in 1959. She worked at Natchitoches Technical School and then as a secretary for the Business Department at Northwestern State University. She went to college and received her undergraduate degree in Business and Office Education from NSU. She later obtained her master’s degree in education from Northwestern. She taught business classes at Natchitoches Central High School until she retired in 2006. She was selected Teacher of the Year in 2002-2003. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Before she moved to Fort Worth she enjoyed having monthly lunches with the St. Mary’s Girls group. She moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in November of 2020 where she resided until her death. 

She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Davis and her husband Brad, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kim Ramon and her husband Lonnie, of Fort Worth, Texas; and her two stepsons Wayne Deen and his wife Mary, of Pollock, and Allen Deen and his wife Lisa, of Ville Platte. She is also survived by her brother, John Ivory Lemoine, of Baton Rouge. Bobby and Yvonne have eight grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters. 

Pallbearers will be William Ramon, Matthew Deen, Johnny Lemoine, Seth Norris, Wesley Gaspard, and Tyler Burr.
