Zachary Chase Martin

A memorial service for Zachary “Chase” Martin, Jr. will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time on the 10th at Blanchard-St. Denis. God’s plans for Chase were not the plans we had envisioned for our son and even though our hearts were broken we know he was wrapped in arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born on April 20, 2022 to Katherine Hamm Martin and Zachary Martin, Sr. in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Hamm He is survived by his parents, Zachary and Katherine Martin; sister, Lilyana Martin; maternal grandparent, Tamala Hamm; paternal grandparents, Jason Martin (Kenneth Dinning) and Wendy Vines (Jimmy Vines); great grandparents, Betty Smith, Linda and Paul Cormane, and Louise Martin; uncles, Joshua Hamm, Colton Vines, and Robert Vines; special dear friends that we consider family, Shandi and Chris Brown; as well as numerous cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
