There are two main choices when someone in your family passes on. You can plan a regular funeral service for them, or you can decide on cremation services in Arnaudville, LA. While cremation services have been around for thousands of years, that process still feels new to some people because it has only recently become hugely popular and widely accepted. Here are a few things about the process that make it a great alternative to the funeral process.
Honorable And Respectful
One good thing to know about cremation is that it is just as honorable and respectful as a funeral service. If you are going back and forth between the two, rest assured that there is no wrong choice. If you want honor and respect for your loved one, you’ll get it—no matter what direction you take. Their needs will be met and you will be giving them the dignity they deserve.
Saves Money
There are no right or wrong reasons to choose cremation and many people pick it because it costs less than a funeral. It’s a great alternative process to a funeral because it costs less and can benefit families who may have a smaller budget. There are a lot of things you have to have for the funeral process that you just don’t need with cremation. When you cut those necessities out and are left with something simpler, of course it’s going to cost less.
Gives Tons Of Options
Cremation also comes with tons of options that allows you to customize things so you can get something unique for your family member. You can do whatever kind of memorial service you want and final resting places are also flexible. There are endless options and it can help you to come up with something that really suits your family and your loved one’s style.
Allows Timeline Flexibility
Once the cremation process is complete, there is no longer a timeline on the final services. You can decide on cremation and that can give you the time you might need to move ahead with a memorial. You can have the memorial right away, of course, but you can also put it off for weeks, months, or even longer. That flexibility can really help your family pull together whatever you want. You might like the extra time to plan something really special.
There are plenty of benefits to cremation services in Arnaudville, LA and it’s definitely something to consider as an alternative to a funeral if a loved one passes on and you want to honor them. There are benefits to both avenues, but perhaps you feel like your loved one would be better off with a cremation, for whatever reason. The professionals at Pellerin Funeral Homes can help you to figure out what you’d like to do for your loved one. The options are laid out in front of you and that can make it easier to feel out what’s right for your family. Give us a call whenever you need us and we’ll be here for you.
